I Was Tired All the Time… Here’s What I Learned the Hard Way

Lately, I was feeling so drained. I mean really tired. All I wanted to do was sleep. I thought it was just the normal exhaustion of taking care of a baby and chasing around a toddler, but something felt off.

Then it hit me: I wasn’t eating enough.

I was trying to lose weight while also pumping, and honestly? It backfired. I had no energy, felt weak, and just overall blah. And then I realized something important— you can’t pour from an empty cup.

If you’re breastfeeding or pumping, please don’t diet. Your body needs real fuel to keep up with the demands of feeding your baby and YOU need that fuel to function and feel good. What you eat literally becomes part of the milk your baby receives.

Eat well. Rest when you can. Your body is doing something amazing, and it deserves to be treated with love.

This isn’t the time to stress about dropping the baby weight. This is the time to nourish yourself so you can nourish your little one.
