CAFE SUNFLOWER | ATLANTA | VEGAN
Their dessert options are unmatched. The chocolate raspberry mousse cake is by far my FAVORITE cake ever. AND it’s vegan! I’ve pretty much always ordered this cake for any special occasion– birthday, anniversary and even Mother’s Day (had to spoil myself lol). If you live in Atlanta or are planning a visit, definitely add this to your list of places to check out!
RED O CANTINA | SANTA MONICA | MEXICAN
My husband and I stumbled upon this spot just after hitting the beach in Santa Monica. We were hungry and the food here was heaven. We took a bite into the spinach enchiladas and it was mouthwateringly delicious. To top it off, we ordered the passionfruit butter cake. We indulged. If you’re in SM, please make plans to go here!
NUEVO LAREDO | ATLANTA | MEXICAN
Situated in a house-like setting, NL is the most authentic mexican food I’ve ever had. Its staff is warm and friendly. The atmosphere thus inviting. Literally everything on the menu is worth trying.
CHASKA | ATLANTA | INDIAN
For me, it’s a bit hard to find an Indian restaurant that 1) has great food and 2) has a modern, well-decorated atmosphere. That said, I finally found an Indian restaurant that matches my dining style- Chaska. This restaurant is a hidden gem and more people need to hear about it. Have the food and you will come back for more!
RUSANS | ATLANTA | JAPANESE
Being a vegetarian, it’s tough to find vegetarian sushi options. Rusans has just that. It’s veg options are quite extensive and good! The tempura cream cheese make and tempura mixed vegetable maki are my favorites. Their food is simple and delicious and worth trying out!
INDIKITCH | NEW YORK CITY | INDIAN
I’d classify this as a fast-food/pick-up restaurant. If you ever want to try kati rolls, try it from here. I ordered the paneer bhurji kati roll and it hit the spot. It was a dreadful Sunday in New York and I was a little bit under the weather. Not only did this make me feel better but I was obsessed with kati rolls since then.
SAHIB | NEW YORK CITY | INDIAN
I’m a huge fan of Punjabi food and this restaurant comes closest to authentic Punjabi food. My staple order is dal makhani, paneer and garlic naan. It’s the perfect order for me and I’m left feeling satisfied. If you’re in NYC, definitely make reservations here with some friends and you all will love it!
YALDA | ATLANTA | MEDITERANNEAN
I love Mediterranean food! It’s comfort food. So many vegetarian options- from hummus to babaghanoush to falafel to tahini. It’s my go-to option when I’m looking for something good and healthy. Yalda is huge and offers a warm, open atmosphere that’s great for large groups, corporate meets, dates, etc. Check this place out if you’re in the area!
PLANTA | MIAMI | VEGAN
This is my favorite vegan restaurant. Their menu has so many tasty options and each one is totally worth trying! My favorite thing about it is that it covers different regions of the world – they have sushi, nachos, pizza and so much more. All VEGAN! And it’s delicious where you can’t tell if it’s vegan. They have multiple locations in the US and each offer a menu of amazing vegan options.
